A play about hope...
Theatre for a Cause Geneva (TFAC) will bring its newest production, Somewhere, In Between (Dans l’entre-deux), to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe on 7 and 8 August 2026. This marks an important milestone for the association: the first time one of its original works will be presented in an international festival context.
First staged at Théâtre des Grottes in Geneva in March 2026, Somewhere, In Between is a play about hope in all its complexity. Through a series of original monologues and dialogues, it brings audiences into the fragile space where doubt and conviction live side by side, and asks what we reach for when certainty disappears.
From Geneva to Edinburgh...
Since 2020, TFAC has created original bilingual theatre in Geneva, shaped by lived experiences and made possible by volunteer commitment. In Geneva, our productions also serve as fundraisers for local community associations.
Bringing our work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world’s largest performing arts festival, is a major milestone for the association: a chance to take a Geneva-born production beyond Switzerland and share the creative model we have built with an international audience.
The funds raised will help cover the concrete costs of the project, especially travel and accommodation for our troupe of 10 performers and 3 members of the technical and directing team.
Thanks to you...
Every contribution, large or small, brings us closer to Edinburgh. It helps a volunteer-led association take a Geneva-born project further, shaped with its community and built on the belief that stories can create connection, open conversations and stay with people beyond the stage.
