Help make it possible for Ibrahima to stay
Ibrahima has been living in Switzerland for a year. He fled from Sierra Leone as an unaccompanied minor — in search of safety, a future, and peace.
Here, he found a home — through dance, through community, through people who welcomed him. But on his 18th birthday, he received notice that his residence permit would not be renewed. Now he wants to fight for his right to stay — and for that, he needs professional support.
We, the ƒome collective, want to enable him to receive legal representation: from a lawyer who will support him on this path.
We met Ibrahima through our Culture for All program: He took part in our Summer Dance Camp, which gives refugee children and young people free access to a week of dance, joy, and community. That’s where he became part of our family — through his openness, his energy, and his love for dance.
With your support, we can fund his legal representation in the asylum process.

My project is special because ...
The ƒome collective is more than just a collective — we are a family. ƒome means «family» in the Ewe language of Ghana, and that’s exactly what we live: we create spaces where people are seen, heard, and empowered — regardless of their background, status, or age.
This summer, we are giving 10–15 refugee children a place at the Summer Dance Camp. The camp is a place full of dance, laughter, and community — a space where children can simply be children.
One of these participants was Ibrahima, who fled Sierra Leone as an unaccompanied minor. He became part of our family — through his openness, his energy, and his love for dance. Now we want to show him and other children: You belong here.
This is what I need backing for.
The money will be used to pay a lawyer who can support Ibrahima legally.
