This is what it's all about.
I’m a singer and songwriter from Vienna and with your help I’m going to record my debut album! After my degree in business, I followed my heart and going against all common sense, I studied singing. Shortly afterwards, I began writing songs and fell for it completely. During the last few years, I have written many songs and I’ve now chosen 10 of these, which I’m going to record professionally. For me, this means that my biggest dream is coming true and now I need your support!
What’s special about this project?
The album will be a diverse mix of pop, jazz, soul and blues in both German and English. In the pianist and cellist Niko Leopold, I have found my creative partner. Together with Niko, I wrote the arrangements of the songs for the whole band.
Now it’s time for the next step: Together we will record 10 songs for my first album in the SkyStudio Vienna – so a dream will come true for me! The amazing sound engineer Philipp Conrad will work his magic on my sounds and melodies. The songs are based around vocals, piano, double bass and drums. For a few of the songs, string and brass instruments also come into play.
This is what I need backing for.
I write songs for all those people that want to go their own path or are still searching for it. I want to show people that you can live your passion authentically. It’s important to me to write songs in my native German as well as in English. What is so special about my album is that it’s very multi-facetted, no song sounds like another, but it’s still my sound! My musical palette stretches across blues in German to English soul all the way to German pop, to name just a few.
My music sounds authentic, touches and captivates you and is immediately compelling («earworms» are guaranteed). I combine jazz with pop – sophisticated music for everyone.
The instrumentalisation is very important to me. In Niko Leopold I have found a virtuous musician full of feeling, who composes arrangements with a great deal of sensitivity, which go under your skin.
