Switzerlust introduces itself

Hi! Grüezi! Ciao! Allegra (yes, it’s Romansh)!

Switzerlust was born in 2018 from the observation that, often due to a lack of time, many Geneva people knew little about their country and were somewhat frustrated by it.

After returning from a year-long trip around the world and knowing little about the country in which I have lived for 15 years, I decided to embark on a mission to discover Switzerland and bring back from each adventure some products made by local producers, craftsmen, designers, artists…

Because we clearly agree that Switzerland is not just the land of chocolate, watches and cheese… Switzerland is rich in wealth and innovation, but information does not travel easily.

Switzerlust therefore invites you to (re)discover the 26 cantons through the actors of the local economy, so as to get off the beaten track and travel without necessarily leaving your sofa!

My project is special because ...

Well… because of its name! More seriously, the concept of a box delivered directly to your home is not new. Switzerlust’s innovative value lies in the diversity of the categories of products and the emphasis put on local producers.

In the same box, you could find a typical food product, a local drink, a traditional cosmetic product, a work of a local artist, an accessory created by local creators… all accompanied by a brochure that will illustrate the history of their creation.

Switzerlust also thought of expats who are homesick and would like to follow what’s going on around here! A great way to indulge yourself or surprise your loved ones!

Important note: whether you choose a single order or a 3 to 6 month subscription, Switzerlust will never apply automatic renewal.

This is what I need backing for.

If you have made it this far, it is because, without a doubt, the concept resonates with you and I thank you for your interest!

For its launch, Switzerlust needs:

  • CHF 5900 to cover orders for the first 100 boxes (which will contain 6 products) accompanied with the presentation brochure;
  • CHF 1500 to have the website translated into German and to allow you to place future orders securely (thanks to a webdesigner);
  • CHF 1500 for the design, manufacture and delivery of the first batch of Switzerlust custom-made boxes by our partner located in the canton of Vaud and in collaboration with a Swiss graphic designer;

to which must be added the 10% fee charged by Wemakeit, i.e. CHF 900.

The boxes should be delivered in early December.

I hope you will find something to your liking in the list of rewards and I thank you very much for your support!

See you soon aboard Switzerlust!
