Synopsis :

For David, a young thirty years old owner of a Parisian communication company he’s managing with his wife Michelle, life is comfortable and unhindered. Especially since the couple is expecting a happy event, as they will become parents. This is not counting on some news revealing them that David’s father is dying. Unrelated to him since its 15 years, David’s animosity prevents him to talk about the past and that father he calls «genitor»… But David cannot escape anymore… As a future father, Michelle faces him. Pushed into a corner and wanting to prove he is worthy of his future responsibilities. David decides to travel t0 Switzerland and meet the man who broke his childhood to finally square things up…

About the director:

After making several short films selected in various national and international festivals, Daniel Torrisi graduated from film school «Ecole Cantonale d’art» in Lausanne. While participating in a variety of writing workshops as TBC or Equinoxe he undertook various training screenwriting (Robert McKee, CEFPF, Femis - Paris) and follows various production and distribution workshops with Frédéric Corvez ( Mk2 - Urban distribution - France). He develops his work as a writer and script doctor working between Switzerland and France with several production companies. After participating in the development of various projects, including his own, Daniel Torrisi produced and directed «The Return» and continues to write various subjects including his first feature film : «FATHER(S)»
