As many of you know, our crowdfunding campaign for the IV Fiesta Española in Basel has now closed. While we did not reach our funding goal (raising CHF 155 out of CHF 7,000), we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to every single person who contributed, shared, or supported the initiative in any way.
Even though we didn’t hit the target, the campaign was far from a failure. It allowed us to:
✔️ Raise visibility for the Fiesta and our values of community, inclusion, and cultural exchange ✔️ Learn important lessons about timing, communication, and outreach ✔️ Pivot our focus towards securing corporate sponsorships, which are now becoming a major source of support for the event
We are proud to share that we currently have 9 confirmed sponsors and collaborators, and thanks to their trust, the Fiesta is financially on track to happen as planned on September 6, 2025 in Rosental/Erlenmatt, Basel. 🇪🇸🇨🇭
As per Wemakeit’s policy, all contributions will be refunded to backers, since the campaign goal was not met.
