Ich bin jetzt unter Vertrag bei Aveline Records (UK).
Das bedeutet, das ein Release in England statt findet, ko-ordiniert vom Label!
Ich freue mich so!!!

Das ändert nichts daran, dass ich den Release in der Schweiz selber organisieren und finanzieren muss.. dank euch kann ich das jetzt getrost durchziehen!
Es gehört eine Portion Mut und positives Denken das alles durchzuziehen und ich gebe zu, manchmal fällt mir das Positive Denken schwer – ich gehe immer vom Schlimmsten aus (lach!*).

Das ich jetzt bei einem Londoner Label unter Vertrag bin.. das ist… WOW.. sowas passiert MIR gerade??
;-)

Und wenn ich dieses, fast unererreichbare Ziel erreicht habe, dann sollten doch alle anderen Ziele ja nicht so schwierig sein, oder?

I just recently signed a deal with Aveline Records from London.
Means: I shall have an organized and co-ordinated release in the whole of England and Ireland. WOW.
I’m super happy!

Does not mean, that all is paid.
Switzerland is out of the deal, so I still organize all in Switzerland on my own – which costs. I can do this thx to you!
It needs a lot of courage to follow your dreams and a positive attitude and I admit, sometimes I think it hard to be positive.. I always figure out the worst case szenario, just in case. .. (haha!).. and … BAM .. I got a deal.
So cool.
If this is possible, then everything else too right?

Cover

Das Cover ist nach wie vor noch nicht fertig.. David (er hat das wemakeit video gemacht) haben eben kürzlich das nötige Material (sprich Photos) erhalten (aus Mexico!… surprise…..) ..
Ich halte euch auf den Laufenden.

The cover is taking it’s time. All busy people.. those who help me work on it like David (who helped me with this wemakeit video).
We just recently got material/photos from a shoot from Mexico.. a friend of mine did some interesting shots.. we’ll see if we can use these.

Vinyl

Vinyl braucht ein spezielles Mastering.
Mastering ist wie ein Mix, .. aber kein Mix. Es verfeinert den Mix. Es erlaubt euch den Sound überall zu hören.
Da Vinyl gewissermassen old school ist und nicht digital, muss der Sound entsprechend anders gemastert werden.

Ich bin mega dankbar und mega froh, dass Fred Kevorkian das Mastering für Vinyl macht. WOW.. wie cool.
Fred hat schon für das digitale Mastering gesorgt (sprich CD) und hat für «The White Stripes», «Iggy Pop» und .. einer meiner Lieblingskünstler: «Joan As Policewoman» gemastert.
Wie FETT wird das denn?.. ey.. ;-)

So eine Ehre.

Vinyl needs to be mastered seperately.
Mastering is like a final mix. It allows you to hear the music like it should sound when coming out of .. lets say.. the radio or from your computer.. or from your phone.
Vinyl is a different matter,.. the old school thing.. so it needs a seperate and special mastering.
I am super happy to say, that Fred Kevorkian is doing the mastering of vinyl (he did it for digital too (CDs)). So cool!
He mastered the greats.. like «The White Stripes» , «Iggy Pop» or my one of my favorites: «Joan As Policewoman».
I’m so honored and happy..
WOW.. it’s gonna sound fantastic!!!!!

Label hat Interesse

Hallo alle
Hello Everybody

Ein Label in England hat Interesse mir beim Release zu helfen.
Halte euch auf dem Laufenden.
Ein Paar von euch haben bereits email gekriegt.. eine hartknäckige Magendarm Grippe hat mich kurz ausgebremst.. ui… sollte im Bett sein.. aber naja.. muss voran gehen. .

Gestern für Cover Art Work gearbeitet (.. das was vorgesehen war, funktioniert nicht irgendwie.. ), zusammen mit David und Nadia.
So ne Art … last chance.. let’s try again Sache..

David hat schon Cover Art Work für Bowie gemacht (.. ich war selber überrascht als ich es erfuhr.. David ist ein Phenomen) .. und Nadia half mit als Creative Art Director..

Trotz immer noch vorhandener Magendarmgrippe, hat es gestern Spass gemacht (.. wenngleich ich jetzt doch tot bin.. hahhaa)..

Yesterday I worked with David and Nadia on the Cover Art Work, shooting in fact again. (.. what we had in mind did not work.. ).

David already worked for Bowie (Had no idea for a long time.. David has his secrets..hehe…) and Nadia was the Art Director bossing me around which I enjoyed. .hahah.. do that, move there, .. let’s try this.
Despite my shitty stomach (.. yes.. what you think.. was a lot in the toilet… ) it was LOADS of fun…
