What is the project about?
In December, City Circus is heading to Lugano to spend a week in an analog studio to record his first album. This project is realized in cooperation with Robin Girod as artistic producer, member of «Mama Rosin» group and the label «Moi J’Connais Records». Yeah Baby!
Why an analog studio?
Because we want to capture and recreate at best the heat and the grain of this album and especially because it will be available in two forms: CD and Vinyl of good quality all shiny and new!
Why should you help us?
It’s an excellent question! City Circus, in addition to being a merry band of musicos brought together by their passion is an electrifying rock filled with vital energy. You can listen to the EP we recorded in 2013 here.
Throughout this year, we trod the boards of various stages and festivals in Switzerland and France while working to create new songs. Today, thanks to this scenic experience and our new titles we are ready and just waiting for your support to achieve this project.
How your contributions will be used?
Since the beginning of Circus City, we have built a war chest with the money we received from our concerts and this amount will allow us to pay for the recording. But recording is one of the multiple stages of making an album; this is where we need you! Your help will allow us to move to the next steps necessary to complete our project: the mix, the mastering, the pressing and the printing.
