Project presentation Amasque

Amaconsort is finally recording its first Album, Amasque! On the menu: Suites of music from English Masques which we’ve assembled, arranged and presented throughout Europe in the course of the last few years. The CD will also contain consort music by Matthew Locke as well as variations on grounds such as Passamezzo Antico and Bergamasca. To make it possible to bring this unique repertoire to the world, cover recording, design and other costs, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Help us make this a reality, spread the Amaconsort-sound!

Recordings are taking place this month, August 2025 in the Church of Peter and Paul, Reutlingen. We’re lucky to be working with the experienced Icelandic sound engineer Ragnheiður Jónsdóttir, making this a 40% Icelandic, 60% German collaboration. The planned release of Amasque is in 2026 and a CD-release tour is in the making.
