This Is What It's All About!

This crowd funding campaign supports the debut CD of Canadian dramatic soprano, Sarah Marie Kramer with the Dresden Chamber Soloists featuring new chamber arrangements of Wagner & Strauss orchestral songs.

This new and exciting collaboration between Sarah Marie Kramer and the Dresden Chamber Soloists will feature the world premiere recording of specially commissioned chamber arrangements of Richard Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder (Four Last Songs), and will also feature new chamber arrangements of Richard Wagner’s Wesendonck-Lieder and the Siegfried Idyll.

Our Project Is Special Because ...

It is a vivid re-imagining of these late romantic staples of beloved orchestral repertoire for soprano and chamber ensemble. Now they are to be experienced anew through the chamber arrangements of Simone Fontanelli, whose work reveals new clarity, colours and lines, while creating an intimate sonic experience.

This project is produced by Anna Rendl of Vienna’s Artphonia Creative Lab.

Additionally we are thrilled to announce the support and collaboration with Vienna’s own family-run artisan workshop «Die Kunstwerkerei». Inspired by the CD programme’s music and poetry «Die Kunstwerkerei» will be producing one-of-a-kind art works which will accompany our reward packages. Further support of the project comes from the talented Viennese Personal Chef Nabiel Michael Elsissi, who shares his love of the Wiener Küche by providing four marvellous reward packages.
