Ich unterstütze das Projekt, weil mich der Enthusiasmus und die Energie des Teams gepackt hat. Da ich selber ein Bienenprojekt in Bolivien auf die Beine gestellt habe, bin ich mir dessen Wirkung und Bedeutung bewusst und freue mich, wenn durch das Treasure Hub die Biodiversität Kenias gefördert wird.

Now that the first beehive in our garden has been colonized by the humming, wonderful creatures, we hear the call to look after them in the best possible way, right?! By adopting one or several worker bees you are helping to set up a nursery with plants for improving the pasture around the Treasure Hub for your humming darlings. We will distribute and plant the seedlings in the neighbourhood.
Our appreciation: You may choose the names for your fosterlings and will receive an adoption certificate. Plus: As foster parents, we are sending you our bee report twice a year! Isn’t that a really sweet offer?!

In recognition of his efforts to market Kenya through his books and public speaking, in 2006 he was declared Honorary Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya. The Treasures of Kenya offer him a chance to live up to the this call of duty. His homes lie in Ngong, Kenya and Cologne, Germany.

Julia ist Teil des erweiterten Teams der 50 Treasures of Kenya. Auf einer spannenden Reise in den Norden Kenias im Sommer 2021 wurde sie selbst Zeugin der wichtigen und einmaligen Arbeit. Der Kontakt und das Vertrauen zu den lokalen Gemeinschaften haben sie sehr beeindruckt. Julia ist Sozialwissenschaftlerin, arbeitet im Bereich Bildung und Nachhaltigkeit. Sie lebt und arbeitet im Rheinland.
