This is what it's all about.

We have known the problem of the climate and biodiversity crisis for a long time. It is important to us that these topics are not considered separately. That’s why we built a permaculture garden in our zentrumRANFT. With this we show how food can be grown in harmony with nature. We actively pass on our knowledge with training courses and engagement weeks.

In addition, we have set up the series of Ranft climate talks and have been bringing climate issues to rural areas since 2019.

My project is special because ...

Our society needs a new lifestyle. Slowing down, being close to nature and conserving resources are important aspects for us that belong together. Only if we manage to think differently about our lifestyle can we counteract the climate crisis. At the RANFT center we want to try out small solutions, pass on knowledge and contribute to a social and ecological world.

This is what I need backing for.

In order to be able to expand the transfer of knowledge and to be able to bring interested people together, we need your support. Specifically, we want to make our know-how on permaculture more easily accessible, set up social projects with schools and increase the visibility of the topic.

What we intend to do with your donation: We would like to set up social projects with schools, here we need support for the coordination and preparation of the documents. We would like to continue the series of Ranfter Klimagespräche, here we need money for the speakers’ fees. We would like to push the permaculture project forward, here the contribution helps to carry out engagement weeks in which we create rain catchment basins, wild hedges and winding paths. We would like to share our permaculture know-how, here we need support to develop publicly available material.

We believe that being close to nature can give our society back the necessary ground under our feet in the current environmental crisis. We would be very happy about your support.
