Luca Zanier wurde 1966 in Zürich geboren. Nach der Ausbildung als Fotograf arbeitete er als Assistent für verschiedene Fotografen im In- und Ausland. Zanier gründete danach sein eigenes Studio in Zürich und ist seit 1993 als freischaffender Fotograf mit den Schwerpunkten Landscapes, Stills und People sowie Reportagen und freie künstlerische Arbeiten tätig.
