It has been a week since we reached our crowdfunding goal, and in just three weeks, April 3–5, you will see what your support has made possible at Japan Food Fest. Thank you again so much!

Wemakeit is currently processing the release of the backer and funding list. As soon as I receive it, I will send updates to each backer tier with additional information on how to claim your rewards.

For example, those who selected an event ticket as a reward will be added to a Guest List for their preferred date.

In addition, all backers will receive 1 extra Day Ticket on top of their selected reward as a small token of appreciation for believing in this crowdfunding 🎁

While we wait for the list, I highly recommend checking our Workshop page, where you can find 12 different workshops to choose from - for example, a Matcha & Mochi workshop! Spaces are limited, so booking early is highly recommended.

We made it happen!

Thanks to your incredible support, we reached our goal of CHF 12,000 with 2 days still remaining. This means we can officially secure the cultural program, activities, decorations, and event guide for Japan Food Fest!

I am truly grateful for your support on this journey — it means more to me than I can express 🤗

But it’s not over yet - we still have 2 days left.

We’ve now stretched our goal to bring one more idea to life — something we’ve wanted to do since the very beginning: installing a sound system throughout the venue so that guests waiting in line for food can still follow the cultural program on stage and enjoy Japanese music across the festival space.

This setup costs CHF 3,000, and with your continued support, we hope to make it happen and elevate the overall guest experience.

Let’s aim for CHF 15,000 in these final two days. Together, we can take Japan Food Fest even further.

Hi everyone,

THANK YOU so much for being part of the first backers of this crowdfunding! The first week for crowdfunding is the toughest and a lot of doubt so seeing your support and comments gives me hope 🤗

I want to share with you all a short video of me sharing why this crowdfunding means so much to Japan Food Fest and to me personally!

Since the beginning I have been personally funding the cultural progam of Japan Food Fest just so that guests can learn and enjoy Japanese culture. I was really hoping that for the 5th edition, after last year’s high attendance, we would find sponsors.. after many months of working on getting sponsorship, I didn’t reach my goal .. This crowdfunding is our last chance..

Please share this crowdfunding to your friends and family who love Japanese food and supporting cultural initiatives. We also have flyers and social media posts that can be shared.
