Soaking-Worship
For ten years already I (Faib Meier) have been writing songs. Over the last five years I have recorded 40 of them by myself. It took a long time and experiments until I found my own style. This style was inspired by Hillsong, ICF, Columbus Band, John Mark McMillan and Jesus Culture. My style though is a bit more spherical, so I landed in the area of soaking music. Unlike many artists in this area, my music has not many pianos but more electric guitars and vocals.
The songs are already played in churches...
This gave me grounds to record my songs professionally. I chose the best four songs out of the past four years and did a remake. I worked with super musicians and recorded the songs in a further step.
More professional than I planed...
Actually, I just wanted to go to the studio to mix my records with a professional producer and master them afterwards. But the producer saw so great potential in my songs that we decided to record also the voices and the drums in the studio. Every producer would agree with me here and say this has been a very good idea! But through these improvements my project will be much more expensive (x2) as planned… Therefore I need financial support from you. Who is behind this project?
The main initiator is Faib Meier. He has written all the songs, except one, that he wrote together with Damaris. In the studio the songs were supplemented and improved with the ideas of producer Marc (MixArt-Records) and a friend of mine, Alex.
