This is what it's all about.
Our project is to develop the cultivation of the «Luffa» variety of «inedible» squash that has reached maturity. This is then picked and dried becoming a wonderful natural sponge. This sponge is a natural and biodegradable product, soft and resistant, that can easily be used for body care, in the kitchen, the bathroom etc. To prolong the sponge for several months, ensure that after each use rinse out thoroughly then leave to dry.

This project is close to our hearts in order to contribute less waste and to safeguard a respectful agriculture, by designing harmonious, sustainable, energy-efficient facilities, whilst giving work to families or people finding themselves in very difficult times. This project is built on three main ideas: Caring for the land, supporting each other, sharing resources and knowledge equitably. By favouring ecological construction, renewable energies, with a pragmatic and flexible vision in order to best position each element. Today we find that the ethical vision of human activity in tune with nature is inspiring and attracts new forms of agricultural work.

This amount allows for the purchase of agricultural land, rainwater recovery system for irrigation, construction of the drying area and manual peeling of sponges, tools, materials for cultivation and salaries.
