It has now been roughly a month since WE MADE IT! Thanks you again for all of your support. I just came back to inform you that we have been adjusting the last details before the action. We were able to select 2 schools in which we will be working and we just made the last adjustments with them. During the month of August all the screening will be done and then in the first 15 days of September the examination material and the ophthalmologists will be going to the schools. This also means you can expect to receive your reward package between the end of September and the first half of October. I hope this is convenient to all. Please send me an e-mail if you have any questions or special requests. And don’t forget to visit the project’s blog! Gratefully, Katia Steinfeld

Thanks a lot to all that have made a contribution so far. Even though we have reached our inital goal some time ago, there are still many rewards left and donations are more than welcome. In the meantime, the success of this campaign has enabled us to choose the 2 schools in Rio that will be benefited. The total number of children to examine during the months of August and September has doubled. We are now preparing for 1.000 eye exams.

Thank you again for making this action possible. For all that contributed, we hope you will enjoy your reward. If you have any question or suggestion, even after this campaign ends, don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail, visit our blog and subscribe to the mailing list on the webpage.

Have a great week-end!
