You will receive a scan of a glacier subfossil wood disc printed on photographic paper. This photograph will be accompanied by the origin and dating of the sample!

Glacier Fossil Wood Slice S
You will receive a piece of subfossil wood dating back several thousand years, along with a dendrochronological dating certificate.
The sample will be of average size (between 10 and 20 cm in diameter).
The sample is dried and sanded for easy preservation and display. Considering the time spent in the field and in the laboratory to obtain such a sample, this price is very reasonable!

You will receive a slice of subfossil wood dating back several thousand years, along with a dendrochronological dating certificate.

About the Initiators

Melaine Le Roy

LE FAOUET

Melaine Le Roy is a geomorphologist and dendrochronologist. He specialises in Holocene glacial variations, which he has been studying for 15 years in the Alps and, in recent years, in South America. He obtained a PhD in Physical Geography in 2012 from the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (Chambéry, France). He has assembled the world's largest collection of glacial subfossil wood.
