It’s been two years, and I’m crowdfunding again to bring out my next album. It’s the debut album of the Yiddish song duo «Soveles» together with my singing partner Esther Wratschko. Together we create haunting, intimate and dark arrangements for two voices of unaccompanied Yiddish folksongs. It is very different from my first album in terms of its sound, but at the same time the songs also touch upon many similar topics like social justice or feminism. Dear backers, you are absolutely amazing. I am completely overwhelmed by your support. The campaign is fully-financed, plus extra money to help cover the costs of the crowdfunding and pay additional wages to the musicians who helped me.

Now the work starts. I look forward to writing you postcards, singing CDs, going for neighbordhood walks with you or giving online singing lessons. And most of all, I hope you will like the the album, once it arrives in your digital or physical mailboxes in fall.

Unglaublich - nach nur fünf Tagen ist das Projekt komplett fertigfinanziert! Nun steht der Produktion meines Albums nichts mehr im Weg. Ich bin euch wahnsinnig dankbar für eure Unterstützung, ohne die es nicht machbar wäre. Alle Unterstützer*innen werden nach Ende der Kampagne noch persönlich von mir benachrichtigt, aber bis dahin wünsche ich euch noch «a hartiskn dank» und hoffe ihr habt ganz viel Freude mit der CD sobald sie draußen ist.

Die Kampagne läuft übrigens noch 24 Tage weiter, und ich freue mich noch über weitere Unterstützung. Alles was jetzt noch dazukommt hilft mir, die Spesen für das Crowdfunding und für Porto etc. zu decken und kommt noch meinen Mitmusiker*innen zugute, die sich natürlich auch über jede extra Unterstützung freuen.
