Kultur im Container aims to offer up-and-coming artists from the Biel region a platform for their artistic creations. An ocean-going container becomes an exhibition space, the stage in front of the container a platform for a wide variety of performances in the fields of music and spoken word.

The festival has established itself as an important platform for presenting young, fresh and lesser-known cultural work to an open and interested audience. But it is not only on stage that young adults grow at this festival; budding photographers, organizers, technicians and graphic designers also gain important experience during the preparation and implementation.

This is what I need backing for.
In order to carry out our project, we need financial resources for technical equipment, advertising, decoration, container rental, permits, electricity, insurance, toilets and other materials. We are looking for a balance between quality and as little expenditure as possible. The project is financed by a lot of voluntary work, donations and sponsoring. The support of the public, i.e. you, is very important, because as amateurs it is quite difficult to find enough financial support. We are grateful for any support, large or small. But we are also happy to have a supportive audience and hope to see you at the Robert-Walser Platz in Biel in August!
