What is Asha Bengal?
We are an organization that works with and for children with disabilities in Indian Bengal. Since 2003, we’ve been collaborating with our Indian partners to develop sustainable infrastructures, ensure efficient distribution of donations, and improve accessibility for all.
And Lift 4 a Cause?
This is one of our flagship events, designed to raise funds while playfully raising awareness about our cause to a wide audience.
This unique project aims to combine sports, awareness, and active participation for a discipline that receives little media attention.
Even without participating physically, your donation allows you to become an essential player by encouraging the athletes, both young and old, present on that day.
The principle: every franc raised here will be turned into a repetition performed during the event.
What will your support be used for?
The ultimate goal is to raise a total of 10,000 CHF through our campaign and the event. This amount will provide full support to local projects for an entire year, covering the total budget of our Indian partner Paras Padma’s orthopedic workshop for the production of prosthetics, orthotics, and other mobility aids.
Thus, the event is open to everyone: even without the ability to donate, each person’s physical effort can be valued and rewarded.
