Moon & June 0% Aperitif

Hi Friends,

I hope you’re doing well and soaking up the longer spring evenings!

As someone who has been part of Moon & June from day one, you deserve to hear the exciting news first: today we completed the second production run - the one you made possible with your orders back in November.

In the meantime, Moon & June has been making its way into some beautiful corners of the Swiss gastronomy and lifestyle scene. From a high-end mountain hotel in Glarnerland, to the coffee shop in Globus in Basel, to wonderful independent stores here in Zürich. And beyond that, there have been lots of events and venues that I could bring Moon & June to - Christmas markets, high-end jewellery stores on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich, charity events and a pilates studio opening! It’s been a really full and special few months, and there is so much more to come soon.

Now, to the question I’ve been getting a LOT lately: WHEN IS THE NEW FLAVOUR COMING?? I hear you, and I promise - something truly special is in the works. But as a one-woman business, I also want to make sure I’m doing the basics brilliantly before I expand the range. You will absolutely be the first to know the moment I have news.

What a journey this has been! Just one day after the campaign ended and I’m still overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you, truly, for being part of this.

Starting Monday, we begin preparing all deliveries. My goal is to have every Swiss package arrive within the next 2–4 weeks, well in time for the holiday season.

Dear Friends of Moon & June,

I recently listened to a conversation with Brené Brown, who said there is no courage without vulnerability, because courage is the willingness to show up and be «all in» when we cannot predict the outcome.

That thought has stayed with me these past weeks, as I’ve been asked multiple times what happens if my campaign doesn’t reach its goal.

Technically, everyone would simply get their money back, and I would need to decide what’s next. But the real question for me is different:

How do I keep showing up, even when the outcome is uncertain?

And the answer, every time, is the same.

I know I’ve created something that matters. Moon & June is a bold, natural drink that helps people slow down and unwind in the evening. It’s also more than a good drink - it’s a small force of good in the world, helping us make better choices and feel more present in them. It was born from a simple belief that we all deserve a beautiful way to end the day, something real, grounded, and full of life.

Hi Folks,

Over the past week, I’ve done two things completely outside my comfort zone. First, I launched this crowdfunding campaign - to see if there’s real appetite for a complex, non-alcoholic aperitif like Moon & June. And second, I tried cold plunging in the Zürich lake for the first time.

Both were scary at first - but gave me an incredible boost of energy and confidence! Thanks to you, Moon & June is already one-third funded, with over 1,000 bottles ordered and soon making their way from Glarus to homes across Switzerland 🥂.
