Operation Clint

FRANçAIS: Bonjour à vous toutes et tous !

Quelques personnes m’ont demandé comment allait Clint (en privé, tout comme sur le site de WEMAKEIT). Je tenais donc à vous répondre à tous en même temps.

Clint va bien, en tout cas concernant la hanche droite qui a été opérée cela se passe bien. L’opération a eu lieu maintenant il y a plus d’une année et il s’est bien remis.

Néanmoins, il faut rester honnête et réaliste. Il faut se dire qu’une vie tout à fait «normale» n’est plus vraiment possible. Les balades, les moments de jeux à la maison, quelques entrainements simplifiés sont possibles. Mais les très grandes randonnées ou le sport intense qu’il pratiquait ne sont plus tout à fait possibles. Ceci dû à deux raisons : La première étant que sa hanche gauche (celle qui est encore «naturelle») n’est pas parfaite non plus. Elle peut potentiellement avec le temps devenir problématique. Mais pour l’instant on croise les doigts, car cela tient bien. La deuxième raison vient du fait qu’une hanche artificielle ne peut totalement remplacer une vraie hanche. et Clint étant un chien très actif et sportif, beaucoup d’activité lui sont un peu restreintes voir impossible.

Voilà un peu les nouvelles, bien que majoritairement positives, il faut que Clint reste prudent dans ses activités, mais peut vivre normalement à nouveau.

DEUTSCH: Hallo an euch alle!

Einige Leute haben mich gefragt, wie es Clint geht (sowohl privat als auch auf der WEMAKEIT-Website). Daher wollte ich Ihnen allen gleichzeitig antworten.

Clint geht es gut, zumindest was seine rechte Hüfte angeht, die operiert wurde. Die Operation ist nun schon über ein Jahr her und er hat sich gut erholt.

Dennoch muss man ehrlich und realistisch bleiben. Man muss sich klarmachen, dass ein ganz «normales» Leben nicht mehr möglich ist. Spaziergänge, Spielstunden zu Hause und einige vereinfachte Trainings sind möglich. Aber die sehr langen Wanderungen oder der intensive Sport, den er früher betrieben hat, sind nicht mehr ganz möglich. Dies hat zwei Gründe: Der erste ist, dass seine linke Hüfte (die noch «natürliche» Hüfte) auch nicht perfekt ist. Sie kann mit der Zeit potenziell problematisch werden. Aber im Moment drücken wir die Daumen, denn sie hält gut. Der zweite Grund ist, dass eine künstliche Hüfte eine echte Hüfte nicht vollständig ersetzen kann. Und da Clint ein sehr aktiver und sportlicher Hund ist, sind viele Aktivitäten für ihn etwas eingeschränkt oder sogar unmöglich.

Soweit die Neuigkeiten, obwohl sie überwiegend positiv sind, muss Clint bei seinen Aktivitäten vorsichtig bleiben, aber er kann wieder normal leben.

Alcune persone mi hanno chiesto come sta Clint (privatamente, così come sul sito WEMAKEIT). Quindi volevo rispondere a tutti voi allo stesso tempo.

Clint sta bene, almeno per quanto riguarda la sua anca destra. L’operazione ha avuto luogo più di un anno fa e si è ripreso bene.

Tuttavia, dobbiamo rimanere onesti e realistici. Bisogna rendersi conto che una vita completamente «normale» non è più possibile. Passeggiate, giochi in casa, qualche allenamento semplificato sono possibili. Ma le lunghissime passeggiate o lo sport intenso che faceva prima non sono più possibili. Ci sono due ragioni per questo: Il primo è che anche la sua anca sinistra (quella ancora «naturale») non è perfetta. Può diventare potenzialmente problematico con il tempo. Ma per ora teniamo le dita incrociate, perché sta reggendo bene. La seconda ragione è che un’anca artificiale non può sostituire totalmente un’anca vera e, essendo Clint un cane molto attivo e sportivo, molte attività sono un po’ limitate o impossibili per lui.

Quindi questa è la notizia, anche se per lo più positiva, Clint deve stare attento alle sue attività, ma può tornare a vivere normalmente.

ENGLISH : Hello to all of you!

A few people have asked me how Clint is doing (privately, as well as on the WEMAKEIT website). So I wanted to answer you all at the same time.

Clint is doing well, at least concerning the right hip that was operated on. The operation took place now more than a year ago and he has recovered well.

Nevertheless, we must remain honest and realistic. You have to realize that a completely «normal» life is not really possible anymore. Walks, playtime at home, some simplified trainings are possible. But the very long walks or the intense sport he used to practice are not really possible anymore. This is due to two reasons: The first being that his left hip (the one that is still «natural») is not perfect either. It can potentially with time become problematic. But for the moment we are crossing our fingers, because it is holding up well. The second reason is that an artificial hip cannot totally replace a real hip. And Clint being a very active and sporty dog, many activities are a bit restricted or impossible for him.

Here is some news, although mostly positive, Clint must remain cautious in his activities, but can live normally again.

Voici de brèves nouvelles de Clint. Il va de mieux en mieux et sa musculature s’est presque refaite. Je vous transmets deux photos de lui dans son bassin de physiothérapie. Il marche et cours sur un tapis roulant placé dans un bassin remplie d’eau à température corporelle.

Bientôt, il pourra marcher et courir et retrouver une vie presque normale.

Ecco alcune brevi notizie da Clint. Sta migliorando sempre di più ei suoi muscoli sono stati quasi ricostruiti. Vi mando due foto di lui nel suo bacino di fisioterapia. Cammina e corre su un tappeto posto in una bacinella piena d’acqua a temperatura corporea.

Presto potrà camminare e correre e tornare a una vita quasi normale.

Je tenais à vous donner de mes nouvelles 19 jours avant la fin du délai pour la cagnotte WEMAKEIT.

Comme vous pouvez le voir sur la première photo, tout se passe bien. (même si je dois porter cette horrible collerette pour pas que je lèche, me dit Julien, grrrrrrr).

J’ai fait ma première thérapie ce matin de rééducation. Ils sont top et je peux que vous les recommander : http://indika.ch/fr/. Me voilà donc parti pour environs 10-15 semaines de rééducation. Ma patte toute maigre va pouvoir reprendre du muscle.

Dans 19 jours, à la fin du délai, nous vous ferons parvenir vos cadeaux de remerciement. Cependant, je ne peux que vous remercier de nous avoir aidés mon maitre et moi. Mon opération a pu se faire grâce à vous.

Wie Sie auf dem ersten Foto sehen können, läuft alles gut. (Auch wenn ich diese schreckliche Halskrause tragen muss, damit ich nicht lecke, sagte Julien mir, grrrrrrr).

Ich habe heute Morgen meine erste Therapie in der Reha gemacht. Sie sind erstklassig und ich kann sie Ihnen empfehlen: http://indika.ch/fr/. Also werde ich ungefähr 10-15 Wochen Rehabilitation machen. Mein dünnes Bein wird Muskeln aufbauen können.

In 19 Tagen, am Ende der Frist, senden wir Ihnen Ihren Geschenken. Ich kann Ihnen jedoch nur danken nochmals, dass Sie mir und meinem Meister geholfen haben. Meine Operation wurde dank Ihnen ermöglicht.

FRANCAIS Bonjour, c’est moi, Clint ! Je suis sorti de l’hôpital avec une belle cicatrice et la jambe toute neuve. Un peu encore sous le choc, mais je m’en remets pas mal après seulement deux jours suivant l’opération.

Je vois à l’instant que mon maitre n’a pas chômé et qu’il vous a beaucoup motivé pour les dons et vous a informé de ma situation.

Il me faudra, d’après les vétérinaires, encore environ 15 semaines pour retrouver une vie normale. Eh oui ! mais on ne va pas rester sans rien faire. D’abord doucement, mais de plus en plus nous ferons des exercices, mon maitre et moi pour que je puisse marcher normalement à nouveau.

Nous sommes arrivés à 3’850.- sur 5’000.-. Je ne peux que d’ores et déjà vous remercier de tout mon petit cœur de Clint !

DEUTSCH: Hallo, ich bin es, Clint! Ich kam mit einer schönen Narbe und einem brandneuen Bein aus dem Krankenhaus. Immer noch unter Schock, aber ich erhole mich nach nur zwei Tagen der Operation ziemlich gut.

Ich kann jetzt sehen, dass mein Meister sehr beschäftigt war und Sie sehr für Spenden motiviert und Sie über meine Situation informiert hat.

Nach Angaben der Tierärzte werde ich weitere 15 Wochen brauchen, um zu einem normalen Leben zurückzukehren. Eh ja! aber wir werden nicht untätig daneben sitzen. Zuerst langsam, aber immer mehr werden wir trainieren, mein Meister und ich, damit ich wieder normal laufen kann.

Wir kamen um 3’850.- von 5’000.- an. Ich kann dir nur von ganzem Herzen von Clint danken!

ITALIANO Ciao, sono io Clint! Sono uscito dall’ospedale con una bella cicatrice e una gamba nuova di zecca. Ancora sotto shock, ma mi sto riprendendo un po ’dopo solo due giorni dall’operazione.

Français C’est le grand jour aujourd’hui. Clint est maintenant à l’hôpital et se fera opérer demain. La première somme de l’opération a été avancé par moi.
