This is what it's all about.
In my first photo book I dedicate myself photographically to the theme of passion. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been inspired by people who have a passion. Over the years I’ve found that a passion is reflected in a person’s personality.
Ever since I heard about the Wheels and Waves festival in 2017, I’ve wanted to go there. This year my dream came true. Although without a motorcycle, but with my old VW T2 and my camera I set out. The goal of the trip, was not only the Wheels and Waves, but to portray people who live their passion.
3010 kilometers later, I look back at my photos and want to share the stories of the eleven people I met.
I would like to have a book printed so that these pictures and stories will accompany you for as long as possible. It’s supposed to come out on time in November, but I need YOUR support for that.
My project is special because ...
It has always been my dream to be creative, to tell something about people and to inspire others with it. When I found my way back to the camera in 2018, it was clear to me that one day I wanted to make a book for exactly this purpose.
It’s happening now
For this project, I asked eleven protagonists the same two questions. Based on these questions you can imagine who this person is. In addition to the questions, there are pictures in which I show the protagonists in their passion.
This is what I need backing for.
Nowadays, we humans produce far too many products that are not used. With crowdfunding, I want to prevent overproduction of books and prints. That means I will only produce the products that come together through crowdfunding.
