On September 28th, the Climate March in Bern marked the Swiss end of the Global Week for Future, during which actions and demonstrations took place all around the world.
We were among the 100’000 participants who had joined the rally on that bright shining day of autumn. Determination and enthusiasm could be seen on every face, read on every lips and displayed on very creative posters.
We used this opportunity to raise awareness on the current state of the cryosphere. Most notably, the very number of the current 1’462 Swiss glaciers impressed many.
All in all, we spent a wonderful afternoon exchanging with the Swiss population of all ages and all backgrounds. The small version of the yellow Recogn.ice frame that we had brought with us was making its first outing and sparkled the interest of many – may it continue!
