This is what it's all about.

Risplendenti, Riversi was conceived for the Festival Fabbrica Europa and presented for the first time to the public in 2018. With the project Risplendenti, Riversi Nataša Mirković and Michel Godard are presenting a new stage of their collaboration and their musical journey.

A musical journey on which antiquity and modernity intersect again and again and on which the Occident meets the Orient. A musical journey that began with the «En El Amor» project (Carpe Diem Records, 2017) and is far from over with Risplendenti, Riversi.

In November, we will record Risplendenti, Riversi. The location has already been found: we will all meet in the former synagogue St. Pölten. The release is scheduled for spring 2020. We need your support for the production, the release and the promotion.

My project is special because ...

Risplendenti, Riversi combines well-known Italian music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries («Se l’aura spira» by Girolamo Frescobaldi and «La suave melodia» by Andrea Falconieri) to Balkan compositions to be rediscovered (such as «Bugarscchica» by the Croatian poet Petar Hektorovic, printed in Venice at the end of the 16th century). It’s a play between ancient and modern. Risplendenti, Riversi is a narrative music: quiet, mobile, improvised.

Accordinist Luciano Biondini and percussionist Jarrod Cagwin takes also part at this new and promising project. Risplendenti, Riversi «explores» the connection between antiquity and modernity. The project is a journey in which Italian music and Balkan music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries dialogue with the improvisations and original compositions.

This is what I need backing for.

Pay to play … as an old austrian saying goes. Every penny counts and we would be very happy about your support. Let us realize and finalize this great project together. We love music and we love sharing this music with you as well.
