Meet our team and learn the origins of our Idea

We founded and started activities of creative team Станъ Скітъ (Stan Skit) in November 2021 in Makariv city, Kyiv region, Ukraine. It was a peaceful and calm life just outside a forest in one intentional community. Hence life brought its unexpected events both at personal and global levels, RagnaR and Selyzara were for some time following different paths and ultimately reunited by April 2024 in Switzerland. Instantly our collaboration helped us to find a place to live and to work in one of Sissach’s restaurants (in Basel-Landscape). This move helped us from start to become independent members of a brand new (for us) society of Switzerland. Steadily we have started to regain the force to follow our dream, namely: to live in a community of people joined by co-creative links with one another and the spirits of living nature.

This urge has shaped our interest to discover Swiss people, culture and the country itself. But even more, we were striving to create close ties with its nature. Small hikes around Baselbiet and other Swiss Cantons have resulted in a 21-day long journey by foot along the Aare river. It took place last August all the way from Swiss Koblenz to Oberaarglacier - the source of the picturesque river. On our way we had the joy of walking along Lake Brienz and observing the marvelous Brienz city.

Both of us have used to live near big surfaces of water (rivers and seas). This fact can explain our special attraction to such places as the lake system of the high Aare.

Being back from the long trip we have launched a distant search for next opportunities. It led us to Brienz lake district, where it seemed we had found a community, creative work and nature all in one. That’s why we have fearlessly ended our activities in Basel-Land and have rushed to move to Brienz. But it appeared to us here that the job offer we were focused on had no positive result. Nonetheless, we were already there. We had entrusted our new life and new opportunities in a new place. Now we have retained the faith in our own forces and our ideas.

So here is the story of how it all happened.

One day on RagnaR’s birthday we were standing above Brienzer Lake and saw something that first seemed to be strong waves. But there appeared to be dozens of dancing fishes. It was such a breath-taking moment! It gave us an insight to what we can do. Behind our backs we have fundraising campaigns for art and family-oriented projects first in Ukraine and later in Freiburg in Breisgau (DE) https://www.badische-zeitung.de/in-freiburg-gibt-es-eine-ausstellung-von-kunst-die-aus-der-ukraine-gerettet-wurde and experience in Swiss gastronomy. The will to develop ourselves in an independent and creative way was getting stronger and stronger. So we have found new allies - Samurai Box in Obermumpf, Aargau. They were looking for teams ready to use their business models and to learn their recipes and production technologies based on their own 3-year self-employed experience. We confirmed our interest and agreed on a cooperation with their guidance, yet with a great range of freedom in the application of our vision of Samurai Box. Free creative activity is what we really love and appreciate. As the starting goods we will deal with internationalized Sushi meals. So we talked with our land-lord in Brienz and got his approval to produce and pack all the dishes at a private house. Since we will be doing a lot of indoor activities, we decided to open a digitalized window to our kitchen through youtube, facebook and instagram (so feel free to subscribe there). Nevertheless, as free souls we on many occasions will join the rich cultural life of Brienz and its surroundings and share our adventures with you too! You can see the first fruit of it in our campaign’s logo - dancing carp between Berner Alps and Lakes. So here we go heading further to our dream. We welcome you all on board!

The story of a soon to be Big Fish

Historically our homeland is transmutated by both Western and Oriental cultures. We feel like a caviar that has traveled inside the belly of a Big Fish from the abundant waters of Ukraine to Europe’s water treasury. For the last two years we were germinating in Switzerland. Not surprisingly, in summer 2025 some of you followed our journey along the Aare river all along to its Source - Oberaareglacier. So we have tried all tastes of the same water-flow captured in the main Swiss inland river that also sources the Rhine river and ultimately reaches the North Sea famous for its salmon that used to travel here too. So here we are: fresh and passionate children of the cross-cultural pollination by the fluorite-coloured lake. It is clear to spice this area with the famous diplomatic tool such as a cuisine. In our case - sushi. Bringing in the spirits of travel, discoveries, old traditions and primordial will to live and create, we are to grow into big fish together with the local community of Berner Oberland and a number of friendly fishes from overseas.

On the production side we will need to purchase essential cooking tools including refrigerator, freezer, vacuumarator, rice steemer, special wooden sushi carpets, packaging, raw-materials (many fish, even more caviar, begs full of proper-shaped rice and more). Additionally, to keep sharing and experiencing local horizon, heights and depth we will fuel our youtube, instagram, facebook and web-site. And as we grew up in a reading generation we will definitely print stories on leaflets to find local fish friends!
