A very good news

Thanks to your donations, our project to protect the green turtles in the Comoros Islands has been able to continue in a very efficient way. To give you some figures, before the implementation of the eco-guards patrols, there was an average of 2 to 3 turtles poached per week. But since the reintroduction of the patrols last September, there have been only 2 poachings in the space of 10 months! Thanks to you, the patrols will be able to continue without interruption until December 2022, and thus consolidate the protection of this threatened species.

To collect additional donations, Laura (middle), Melissa (left) and Ivan (right), and other volunteers from the Swiss Cetacean Society ran stands this month at the market in Lausanne. There we were able to sell items made by our volunteers and collect money for our project. Thank you for your donations via WeMakeIt or via our stands, because thanks to you we are now 30%!
