Beat Solèr ist Komponist, Producer und Sounddesigner. Nachdem er 2004 unter seinem Projektnamen «Seelenluft» mit dem Song «Manila» einen weltweiten Nr. 1 Hit in den Clubcharts landete, für Grössen wie die Stereo MCs produzierte oder die Fashionshow-Musik für Karl Lagerfeld komponierte, widmet er sich seit einigen Jahren vermehrt dem Film.
