We want to provide a device that allows the home care practitioner to be able to contact their caregivers near him for an emergency without having to contact the ambulance directly. Caregivers must be the first people contacted by their caregiver. There are almost 51,000 caregivers in Ticino, over 684,000 throughout Switzerland. This device sends an SMS as well as a mobile phone call to the 3 pre-set numbers by the user in case of: Fall, malaise, need, anxiety, etc …

SOS Caregiver why?

After a careful market analysis, SwissCaregiver has decided to invest in this type of device as most of the people at risk of falling, suffering from Alzheimer’s or other dementia as well as motor diseases such as parkinson’s, etc. do not want or need only the intervention of an ambulance or green cross with the consequence of the intervention costs. Sometimes the intervention of a care provider is sufficient (spouse, relative, friend, neighbor, etc.) and he will then alarm the specialized rescue if necessary.
