PD Dr. Hanno Scholtz, a trained economist with political experience, as political scientist developed the math of Civil democracy and as sociologist identified the two-step nature of Western modernity.
Practical experience with both parts of pre-1989 divided Germany and direct-democratic Switzerland opened his eyes for the demands and chances of democratic responsibility taken serious.
