In 2023, together with Daniska, we made a dream come true: on just 12 square meters, we created a place in Basel where specialty coffee and matcha are not only served, but truly lived. Since then, we’ve been frothing cappuccinos every day, having real conversations, meeting amazing people, and building something together with you that goes far beyond coffee.
After almost three intense, educational, and courageous years, we feel it’s time for more. More space. More depth. More coffee culture.
SUPLEX Specialty Coffee is our next chapter, and we want to write it together with you.

In wrestling, a suplex is the finishing move that decides everything. That’s exactly how our coffee should feel: powerful, precise, and unforgettable. A taste that knocks you out.
With SUPLEX, we’re bringing the urban coffee culture of cities like London, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam to Basel, creating a place that goes far beyond coffee. A place to be. A space full of energy, light, and love for detail.

Why? Because exceptional specialty coffee can only be created with exceptional equipment. The espresso machine, the grinders, and precise barista tools are the heart of our café. They decide whether a coffee is simply good—or truly unforgettable.
And this is where you come in. Your support will go directly toward a high-quality espresso machine, top-tier grinders, and professional equipment. Exactly what’s needed to unlock the full potential of every bean. Exactly what defines a true knockout café. With your help, we’re investing where you can taste the difference.
Everything else, we’re covering ourselves: Interior build-out, architectural fees, furnishings, and the overall concept are financed through our own funds. We’re investing everything our current resources allow, because we believe in SUPLEX 100%.
