This is what it's all about.
This project is about giving help through basic medical care and support directly in the field. The location is Napalisan, a small isIand of the Philippines (the place where I was born). The majority of the population of this island, lives in conditions of poverty and cannot access to the basic health care, like wound dressing or check-ups (blood pressure, temperature, blood sugar, …), measures that could improve considerably the life quality of those people by preventing complications like infections or the worsening of particular conditions. The aim of the requested financial help is to cover the expenses for medical supplies and equipment (bandages, gauzes, pliers, thermometers, …).
My project is special because ...
This project, will give hope and a practical support to a population forced to sacrifice their health becuase of a lack of resources. It will give to those people the awareness that they are not alone and they have someone ready to help them fighting against health problems, ensuring a physical and psychological well-being.
This is what I need backing for.
Health is a delicate topic, that’s why this project needs a good financial basis to ensure the quality of the medical supplies. I am a young woman full of goodwill and determination, but unfortunately my financial resources are limited. I have confidence in the understanding and generosity of the people who, in front of situation like this, are always willing to lend a helping hand.
