Help us to question the contradictions of superhuman powers and challenges of everyday life. What does it mean to be a superhero? We think true strength often lies in the banal, unremarkable.

The burden and beauty of an ordinary life

I am about to realise an extraordinary dance project that delves deep into the human condition, focusing on themes of chance, chaos and control. This piece, which interweaves philosophical and feminist ideas, is more than just a performance - it is a journey into the imperfection that connects us all.

Your contribution not only helps to bring this project to the stage, but allows us to promote an art form that celebrates our human diversity and reminds us that there is a special beauty in imperfection.

Let’s create something unique together - your support counts!

Premiere is the 24th of october!

Every person is unique and equal

Based on a personal experience, as a heterosexual woman, mother, in my mid-40s, from a middle class background, I became aware of how ’standardised’ my life is. I felt useless and yet as necessary and banal as a glass of water.

This realisation provoked me to my core and made me observe the people around me closely: Mothers, passers-by, workers. People like me. Because despite my personal experience, this is not a reality that only affects me. It is not an exclusive matter, but a collective one. By bringing it to the stage, I hope to raise awareness of our shared condition and the paradox of human existence - each person is unique and equally significant.

I invite the audience to reflect on our constant search for meaning in such a random and prescribed existence. My greatest desire in this work is to generate collective empathy and generosity and to emphasise our preciousness as human beings.

From a singular experience to a stage play for everyone

The work of photographer Miroslav Tichý, writer Sara Ahmed and artists such as Christoph Dräger and Paul Kooiker inspire our ensemble, which consists of Mara Natterer, Léa Thomen and Sayaka Kaiwan. The musician Severin Rusch and all other participants are now in the process of turning the contents into a piece. Many cantons and foundations support us, but money is tight. We want to pay ourselves a fair wage and ensure - that a piece so close to our hearts - is accessible to a wide audience.

Help us to bring this powerful message to the stage. We are counting on you.

Let us celebrate the heroines of everyday life together!
