The sickeningly long road to women’s suffrage is such an important part of Swiss history, and one that should definitely not be brushed under the carpet or forgotten about...I’m very excited to read a fictionalised account of what this devastating ’No’ must have meant for both men and women in Switzerland. I’m so happy that there are women out there like Claire O’Dea who brings light to such an important topic. We women are «still fighting» at several levels to be able to speak up and be heard. I'm so looking forward to read this book, and I believe every woman (and men) should too. T
