The Caulys Company was born at the EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), in Switzerland.

The Caulys Pro, our first version for professionals, allows many establishments to produce their daily fresh herbs in quantity.

Today, we are offering a solution for private individuals that allows everyone to become a producer: Caulys Home!

It is the first vertical indoor vegetable garden producing herbs, seedlings and vegetable shoots in only 7 days.

We need your help! After successful research, we want to install this second version of the Caulys Home in our first users’ homes, before producing our technology on a larger scale.

Technology in the service of nature

In order to use the Caulys vegetable garden, you need to carry out 3 simple steps:

Place a seed pad in the garden
Fill the tank with water
Harvest and enjoy your produce!

We have developed a new method of hydroponics (soil-less cultivation) to produce in quantity. Our gardens are used with the Seed Pads, a concentrate of technology that regulates the PH and promotes rooting, oxygenation and nutrient supply of plants, for maximum quality.

The garden contains horticultural LED lamps that we have designed to provide the necessary light for each plant. This accelerates their growth and improves their taste.

Also known as superfoods, the young shoots are packed with vitamins: on average 18 times more than their mature vegetable counterparts!
