El Verano, Latin American grocery store
El Verano means summer in Spanish. It’s a small, well-stocked store that offers food products from the Americas and beyond, organic fair trade and specialty coffees, dried chilies, salsas, tequilas, mezcals and coffee liqueurs as well as lime and imported beers. Open since August 2021, El Verano is for all lovers of Latin American culture, fans of spices of all kinds, as well as lovers of good coffee, mezcals and artisanal tequilas.
A Latino concentrate in La Chaux-de-Fonds
In La Chaux-de-Fonds, many people have ties to Latin America. Also, the whole population is attached to the local trade. Unfortunately, many small shops are closing, and before El Verano, there was no exclusively Latin American grocery store. Our idea is both to fill this gap and to promote organic and fair trade products.
We need stock!
The grocery store is now open, and little by little we have enriched our offer. However, the choice remains limited for the customers and we have little margin to make stocks. Your support will help to perpetuate the project and to constitute a real sustainable offer for our customers.
