What is the Forget Yesterday Festival?

A huge party that brings together music and urban sports, set among abandoned factories covered in graffiti, not far from Yverdon’s town centre.

Fresh off the back of the success from the first edition in 2021, the founders decide to create an association and organise a second edition, this time over two days, and with even more ambition than last time around: Skateboard, BMX, Trial biking and a DJ contest on the Saturday followed by roller blading, freestyle scooter and parkour on the Sunday. All put together around a temporary skate ramp with afterparties pumping out the best in hip-hop and electro to cap it all off. With emblematic figures from across Switzerland and Europe on display in each discipline, it promises to be a show not to be missed!

LET’S SHOW SOME SOLIDARITY! In the spirit of mutual aid, the founders of the festival donated part of the profits last year to Caritas Vaud, which resulted in 150 meals being distributed to people in need. And once again this year, each pack purchased will allow one or more meals to be offered to those who need it most.

Why set up a crowdfunding project?

You can’t talk about urban sports without talking about skate ramps…And you know WHAT? This year we want the riders to fly as high as possible, go beyond themselves and wow the other festivalgoers!

That’s why we have planned to build a ridiculously sick ramp, twice the size of the first edition’s, as the central point of the festival. The competitors will be able to send it hard and give free rein to their creative spirit while trying to take home the victory and win over the public.

Our aim is also to give everyone the opportunity to test themselves on this unique structure, given that anything similar is rarely found in French-speaking Switzerland. And it’s for this reason that we have timeslots reserved for amateurs (for those who think they can handle it) so that they can put themselves in their favourite star’s shoes (or skates) for a moment!

A double ramp 19 meters long and 9 meters wide will be enough to leave all the skateparks in Switzerland red with envy!

The full sum to finance this mega ramp has not been collected yet, AND THAT’S WHY WE NEED YOU, TO MAKE THE DREAM A REALITY!

If you want to participate in this huge party…

It’s really simple! This campaign aims to finance the forementioned ramp. To thank you for participating, we are giving away loads of amazing goodies in relation to the pack chosen. All contributions are welcome: whether you give 50.- or 1000.-, your name will be displayed on the ramp throughout the entire festival in addition to the other giveaways on offer! A piece of cake, right?
