Lago Mio is an artist residency in the heart of Lugano.

Founded by Carlotta Zarattini (Lugano) and Benedikt Wyss (Basel) in collaboration with Johannes Willi (Basel) as well as Giulia Brivio (Milano), Elise Lammer (Lausanne), Samuel Leuenberger (Birsfelden), Alice Nicotra (Lugano), Claudia Scholz (Lugano), Philip Selzer (Basel), Giovanna Silva (Milano) and Claudio Vogt (Basel).

BW is an independent curator/collaborator based in Basel. For new forms of encounter, he initiates exhibitions & happenings in ever-changing spheres: the river, a demolition house, a luxury hotel, a church, a construction site, a carnival, rails, etc. BW collaborated with Espacio Odéon Bogotá, fructa München, Kunsthalle Basel, Museum Tinguely Basel, SALTS Birsfelden, Schauspielhaus Zürich a.o.
