Die CD-Taufe in Bogota war ein voller Erfolg. 180 Personen haben Platz im ehrwürdigen Auditorium German Arcienagas im Kulturzentrum der Nationalbibliothek von Bogota. Und wir dachten nicht im Traum daran, diesen Raum zu füllen… Der Raum platzte. 220 Personen kamen und liessen sich berühren. Es gab Zurufe, die von Emotionen strotzten, viel Applaus und zum Schluss stand der ganze Saal. Im Nachhinein sahen wir verweinte Augen und bewegte Menschen, die von «piel de gallina» (Hühnerhaut) erzählten… Die Bauern wurden umzingelt von interessierten Leuten, mussten Autogramme geben, versprechen, dass sie bald zurückkehren, um ein ganzes Konzert zu geben und es wurden rund 100 CDs verkauft und noch einmal ca. 50 bestellt.
The CD release in Bogota was a great success. The Auditorium German Arcienagas in the cultural centre of the National Library in Bogota has 180 seats. We didn’t expect to be sold out. However, what happened is that around 220 people arrived and let themselves carry on a journey to Las Pavas… They were touched, they reacted with affirmative calls and wild applause during the performance and when the show was over, the whole room was standing. Going out, we saw red eyes from shed tears and a lot of moved people who told us that they got goose bumps… The farmers were rounded by interested people who wanted autographs, they had to promise that they would soon come back and give an entire concert and they sold over 100 CDs.
Die ersten 100 CDs reisten in meinem Handgepäck in die Schweiz, ebenso rund 300 Postkarten. Bis Ende August werden alle Backer mit ihren Belohnungen versorgt sein. Wir freuen uns sehr, diese grosse Freude bald mit Euch teilen zu können und hoffen, dass Ihr zahlreich am 13. September im RomeroHaus, Luzern, erscheinen könnt. Zur CD-Taufe «Les voy a cantar la historia» und Eröffnung der Fotoausstellung «Les voy a contar la historia», welche einen Monat lang dort gastiert.
The first 100 CDs travelled with me to Switzerland, as well as about 300 postcards. Till the end of August, all our backers will have received their rewards. Of course, the CDs and postcards are also sold, so if you want to help us promote them, please let us know. We are looking forward to share our great joy with you and hope to see you on 13th September in RomeroHaus, Luzern, for the CD release «Les voy a cantar la historia» in Switzerland and for the opening of the photo exhibition «Les voy a contar la historia» that will be exhibited for a month there.
