A love story

We are Robin and Julien: a couple who met in Niseko, Japan. Immersed in the art of hospitality and gastronomy, we come from multicultural families and grew up surrounded by a love of flavors and moments of sharing. After working in hospitality and dining across the globe, we decided to return home to bring an old dream to life: opening our very own restaurant in Lausanne!

Our concept

maza is more than just a restaurant in the heart of Lausanne—it’s a culinary experience designed to be shared.

Our cuisine? Creative and full of character, inspired by our European, Chinese, and Egyptian roots. Each dish invites you on a journey, all in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

As for drinks, we offer a local selection of wines, beers, and a few handpicked gems to perfectly complement every bite.
