Is it possible to achieve the goal when hope is fading? Yes! The Final whistle blows at the end. Compared to a football match, there are still 15 minutes left, but that’s not much.
Since yesterday, new friends have joined us. People who are participating, and those on the photo. But it didn’t need magical abilities, just getting involved. And we were able to make another good leap forward.
Although a little exhausted after 41 days of crowdfunding, we are keeping our feet on the ground. Whatever the outcome of this crowdfunding campaign, it’ll be good for something.
Many questions arise, including this one: After 4566 downloads of the 3D files at openmovement, have we got the wrong idea about the power of the open source hardware community?
And: thank you to everyone who supports openmovement in any way or simply follows the project with interest.

A miracle is an unpredictable event that surpasses everything – even all possible negative predictions. And it can happen right up until the final whistle.
We are delighted that all of you, 189 individuals and companies, are participating in this crowdfunding campaign. And that we have reached CHF 39,000 of our funding goal. So many people and a lot of money!
Imagine a party with 189 people at your home… That’s a lot of people and it would take a lot of space.
The dream of an even bigger ’party’ with over 1,000 people will probably be difficult to achieve by tomorrow, Saturday, 5 p.m. There would be space – not at home, but on the movement of this crowdfunding project, where your names will be engraved. But can we achieve the financial funding target? For example, with only 30 people…
For anyone who would still like to join in: there is nothing to lose. With a crowdfunding, the motto is: all or nothing. If we don’t make it, you will get your money back. If we do make it, openmovement will move on to the next round and the clock for the watch museum, with your names immortalised on the movement, will be manufactured.
Miracles often happen in football in the last minute. But only half a miracle, because when it happens, one team loses.
In this crowdfunding campaign, however, a fair miracle with no losers is possible. We will know tomorrow at 5 p.m., after the final whistle (Swiss time / UTC+2), whether it will happen and whether we will be able to get the ball into the goal without a goalkeeper.

Many thanks to all of you who are supporting the openmovement crowdfunding! We are also delighted to receive your enthusiastic feedback.
The crowd will decide whether this special watch with your name on will be produced and whether the OM10 project will make the step from prototypes to the next round, the parts kits.
This crowdfunding campaign still needs more supporters. Do you know any people or companies who don’t know about it yet? Then give them a nudge – or even better, wake them up!
Because the deadline is approaching and the remaining 5 days feel like the last 5 minutes of a football match… And the motto is: we’ll give it everything until the final whist!

Crowdfunding is not a self-runner, only those who row can make it to the funding goal. Are you rowing with us? Time is running out and we still need lots of supporters. Who else can you tell about this crowdfunding?
Do you have everything you need? Inform watch collectors’ associations that you know, write in open source forums, tell technology enthusiasts, visionaries, friends and acquaintances about wemakeit and openmovement.
We are excited to see what else is possible. And whether the path of open source, as we realistically see it, is also realistic.
