Monica Ticlla Ccenhua

Monica is a scientist fascinated by humans’ microbial selves. Driven by her interest in improving women’s health, she reoriented her career towards the study of vaginal microbes. Her main focus is to harness vaginal microbes potential to design effective personalised therapies. She also wants to break women’s health taboos by actively and effectively communicating scientific knowledge.

Sonja has a long trajectory carrying out interdisciplinary research in the fields of social and behavioural health, sexual and reproductive health, and preventive medicine. Her research is focused on questions relevant to mother and child health and gender medicine.

Ethel is passionate about science and innovation. Managing projects at the interface between Life Sciences and Society on an international basis and working with interdisciplinary teams is what she enjoys the most.
