Hi there !
We’re Maud, Leo and Patrizio, three vegan friends about to open a 100% vegan restaurant in Plainpalais, Geneva. Our aim : to offer the best vegan food in town in a warm and comfortable place called Café Mutin. We expect to welcome you in mid-March and we will be open 6 days a week, all day long, for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even for Sunday’s brunch. We will offer all kind of dishes, from healthy to comfort food, in order to encourage everyone to eat there, not just vegans ! To attract omnivores and show them just how great our food can be, there will be all sorts of stuff available, like burgers and traditional dishes, including fresh fruit juices, smoothies, and treats as well as gluten free options, all made with organic, seasonal and local products. Besides food, we will also focus on eco friendly practices, using recycled packaging for take-away food.
This is what it's all about.
After months of search and hard work, we’ve finally secured a location in a charming space next to the hospital and close to the already well known Crémerie Végane. Now, we are on the verge of opening but there’re still many things to be done. First, we need to complete our budget. To do so, we’ve launched a crowdfunding campain on We Make It. The collected money will be used to purchase equipment such as a juice extractor, a professional vegetable cutter or a dehydrator but also to decorate the place and make it pleasant and welcoming.
We will also be running community events every now and again and make the Café Mutin a space that promotes discussion and interaction and a haven and destination for not only the residents of the immediate community but also for the vegan community at large.
