Wir sind aus dem Häuschen! Denn ihr seid einfach der Hammer!!! Dank EUCH, haben wir über 140’000 Franken für unser Nativo Projekt zusammen bekommen - viel mehr als erhofft! Wir werden uns nun voll in die Umsetzung dieses grossen Vorhabens stürzen. Dank EUCH können wir die ursprünglichen Kakaosorten des Alto Huayabamba Tal schützen, erforschen und für feinste Schoggi kultivieren. Das ist also erst der Beginn einer langen und spannenden Reise, auf die wir euch fortan mitnehmen… Und der erste Schritt sind natürlich eure Belohnungen! In kurzer Zeit erhältst Du von uns eine E-Mail mit mehr Informationen zu Deiner persönlichen Belohnung. Halte also Ausschau! ;-) Doch noch viel mehr als das, gehst Du von nun an in die Schoggi-Geschichte ein und wirst ein wesentlicher Teil des Nativo Projekts, deren Entwicklung Du Schritt für Schritt verfolgen wirst und Jahr für Jahr neue Kreationen geniessen kannst. ;-) Und übrigens: Zusammen schreiben wir auch Wemakeit-Geschichte, denn das Nativo Projekt ist hier nicht nur die erfolgreichste Kampage in den Bereichen «Küche» und «Fair Trade», sondern hat mit 1067 auch die zweit höchste Anzahl an Unterstützern erreicht!

Parce que vous avez été absolument magnifiques ! Grâce à VOUS, nous avons rassemblé plus de 140’000 CHF pour notre projet NATIVO. Bien plus que ce que nous pouvions imaginé !! Nous pouvons maintenant réaliser ce grand projet qui vise à préserver des variétés de cacao natif de l’Alto Huayabamba, de financer la recherche pour pouvoir tirer le meilleur parti de ces fèves de cacao aux multiples arômes et de réaliser pour vous le meilleur chocolat ! La première étape c’est déjà de nous assurer que vous allez recevoir vos contreparties ! Très prochainement, vous allez recevoir un email concernant votre contrepartie. Vérifiez bien vos boites emails ! :-) Vous faites partie intégrante du projet et de cette grande aventure ! Vous allez pouvoir suivre pas à pas l’évolution du projet et découvrir les chocolats qui seront créés à partir de ces cacaos uniques. Vous écrivez aussi l’histoire de We Make It avec nous, parce que le Projet Nativo n’est pas seulement le projet ayant eu le plus de succès dans les domaines «alimentation» et «commerce équitable» sur la plate-forme, mais c’est surtout le deuxième projet ayant rassemblé le plus de contributeurs avec un total de 1067 personnes !

We are over the moon! Because you all are absolutely amazing!!! Thanks to YOU, we have gathered over 140’000 francs for our Nativo Project - waaaay more than we’d have imagined. We can now realize this big project, preserve Alto Huayabamba’s precious native cacaos, investigate them and create fine chocolates out of them… The first step is of course to make sure you all receive your rewards! Shortly, you’ll get an email with more informations about your personal reward. So stay tuned! ;-) But more than that, from now on you are a core part of this project and we will take you on an exciting journey. Das Ziel ist erreicht und damit können wir mit der Produktion der ersten Schokolade aus unseren einzigartigen Kakaos Nativos loslegen! Schon sehr bald wirst Du diese Schätze endlich selbst geniessen können! Das gesamte Choba Choba Team in Peru und in der Schweiz dankt Dir ganz herzlich für Deine fleissige Unterstützung - dank DIR wird ein Traum war und wir können dieses ehrgeizige Projekt in die Tat umsetzen! Jetzt werden wir nicht nur diese erste Nativo-Schoggi – eine wahre Weltpremiere – kreieren, sondern auch mit dem Bau unseres Forschungszentrums in Peru anfangen können.

ABER: Zum Glück ist die Kampagne nicht vorbei und wir haben noch 20 Tage vor uns! Lass uns sie nutzen, um das Projekt noch einen grossen Schritt weiterzubringen!

In Peru besuchten wir in Tingo Maria die UNAS (Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva), wo wir auf Kakao spezialisierte Professoren und Wissenschaftler treffen konnten. Ihnen stellten wir unser Nativo Projekt vor und ernteten viel positives Feedback.

Schaffen wir es, mit unserer Kampagne 110’000 Franken zu erziehlen, werden wir mit unserem Projekt nicht nur schneller vorwärts kommen. Insbesondere würde es uns erlauben, die Zusammenarbeit mit den führenden Kakao-Forschern der UNAS zu finanzieren und ihre Unterstützung gleich in der entscheidenden Phase, zu Beginn unseres Langzeitprojektes, zu bekommen: bei der detaillierten Bestandsaufnahme unserer Kakaos-Nativos. Heute kannst Du uns dabei helfen, diese Experten an Bord des Nativo Projekts zu holen!

Wir sind absolut überwältigt von der grossen Unterstützung zahlreicher Schoggi-Fans und wir glauben fest, dass wir noch mehr Menschen mit Deiner Hilfe erreichen können! Lass also alle davon hören, denn das Nativo Projekt startet gerade erst…

Nous avons collecté suffisamment de fonds pour produire les premiers chocolats réalisés à partir de ces précieux cacaos Nativos ! Un rêve qui est devenu une réalité grâce à vous et vous allez bientôt être en mesure de déguster ce trésor ! En Suisse et au Pérou, tous les membres de Choba Choba sont vraiment reconnaissants et vous remercie pour votre contribution et votre soutien dans ce projet ambitieux. Nous n’allons pas uniquement produire ces chocolats exceptionnels, nous allons également commencer la construction d’un centre de conservation et d’investigation au Pérou !

MAIS cette campagne est loin d’être finie, il nous reste encore 20 jours ! Passons donc à l’étape supérieure du projet dès aujourd’hui !

Au Pérou, nous avons visité l’UNAS (Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva) qui se trouve à Tingo Maria. Nous y avons rencontré des scientifiques et professeurs spécialisés dans le cacao. Nous leur avons présenté le Nativo Project et nous avons eu un retour positif.

Si nous collectons 110 000 francs, nous n’allons pas être uniquement en mesure d’avancer plus rapidement sur notre projet, mais surtout, cela nous permettra de financer la collaboration avec ces spécialistes et experts du cacao de l’UNAS et avoir leur soutien pendant les premières étapes cruciales de ce projet de conservation et cette enquête sur le long terme. Aujourd’hui vous pouvez nous aider au recrutement de ces experts.

Nous sommes vraiment reconnaissants pour votre soutien et nous croyons réellement que nous pouvons atteindre une plus grande audience et réaliser un nouvel objectif avec votre aide. Alors continuons à répandre le message ! Le projet ne fait que commencer…

We collected sufficient funds to start the production of the first chocolates out of these precious cacaos nativos! A dream becomes reality thanks to YOU! And YOU are going to taste this treasure very soon!

In Switzerland and in Peru all the Choba Choba members are truly grateful and we thank you all for your contribution and support to this ambitious project. Not only will we create this unique chocolate as a world premiere but we will also be able to start the construction of the conservation and investigation center in Peru!

BUT the campaign is not over yet and we have still 20 days to go! So let’s take that project a big step further today!

In Peru, we visited the UNAS (Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva) in Tingo Maria where we met scientists and professors specialized in cacao. We have presented them our Nativo Project and received a very positive feedback.

If we collect 110 000 francs, we would not only be able to advance faster on our project. But most of all, it would allow us to finance the collaboration with these leading cacao specialists from UNAS and have their expert support during the crucial first step of our long term conservation and investigation project: when we will be setting up the detailed inventory of the different cacao varieties we identified. And today, you can help us bring these experts on board!

We are overwhelmed by your support and we truly believe that we can reach a bigger audience and achieve this new goal thanks to your help. So continue to spread the word! The project is just starting…

Der Nativo-Kakao ist ein einzigartiges Naturerbe, welches nur in der Biosphäre des Alto Huayabamba Tals vorkommt. Zurecht sind die Choba Choba Bauern sehr stolz auf diese Schätze und auf ihre Initiative hin wurde das Nativo-Projekt überhaupt ins Leben gerufen. Unser Agrar-Ingenieur vor Ort, Jimmy, erklärt im Video, was die Nativo-Kakaos so besonders wertvoll macht und was wir als nächstes mit ihnen vorhaben. …und übrigens: Wir sind mittlerweile nicht mehr weit entfernt von 60’000.- Fr. und somit voll auf der Spur!

C’est pourquoi les producteurs Choba Choba sont fiers de ces variétés de cacao et ont lancé l’ambitieux Projet Nativo ! Wir pflanzen 82 Nativo Kakaobäume im Alto Huayabamba!

Nach unserer Nativo Schoggi-Box ist die Patenschaft für einen Nativo-Kakaobaum auf Platz zwei der beliebtesten Belohnungen unserer Kampagne: Bereits 82 Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer möchten einen Kakaobaum auf den Feldern der Choba Choba Bauernfamilien pflanzen! Das ist uns eine Riesenfreude, denn so können die Bauern in Zukunft noch mehr von diesen wertvollen und seltenen Kakaos ernten und wir produzieren daraus noch mehr leckere Schoggi für euch… Falls du zu den Patinnen und Paten eines Kakaos-Nativos gehörst, so kannst du dich zunächst einmal auf die frisch-kreierte Nativo Schoggi-Box Anfang Dezember freuen. Dann, sobald wir die Bäume gepflanzt haben, schicken wir dir ein Zertifikat mit den genauen GPS-Koodinaten deines Baumes, damit du ihn auch wiederfindest! ;-) Übrigens wachsen die Kakaobäume in unseren zwei Dörfern ausschliesslich in Agroforstwirtschaft: Das sind naturnahe Anbausysteme, die auf einem Feld Nutzpflanzen, Edelholzbäume und Tierhaltung miteinander in Harmonie kombinieren – also ganz im Sinne von «choba-choba»-«Ich helfe dir, du hilfst mir».

Quel plaisir de constater que vous êtes nombreux à avoir choisi de parrainer un cacaoyer !

Ce sont plus de 82 arbres qui ont déjà trouvé un parrain ou une marraine et qui seront plantés sur l’une de nos petites parcelles dans l’Alto Huayabamba. Voici un geste bien plus que symbolique, car cela va permettre aux 82 producteurs de cacao Choba Choba d’en prendre soin, de les cultiver et, bien sûr, de les récolter afin de pouvoir à l’avenir créer à partir de leurs précieux fruits des chocolats uniques. La plantation de ses cacaoyers aura lieu en début d’année prochaine. Nous pourrons alors vous faire parvenir un certificat de plantation ainsi que les coordonnées GPS de l’arbre planté ! Dans quelques années vous dégusterez un chocolat Choba Choba qui aura été produit à partir d’un cacaoyer que VOUS aurez parrainé. Mais puisqu’il serait inacceptable de vous faire attendre autant, vous recevrez bien sûr votre tout premier Coffret Nativo début décembre…

We’ll plant 82 cacao Nativo trees in the Alto Huayabamba!

We are excited that our «Plant your own cacao tree» is the second most favorite reward of our campaign: already 82 supporters have declared that they want to plant their cacao tree on our small fields in the Alto Huayabamba! This is great because it means that in future the Choba Choba farmers can harvest more of these precious and rare cacaos so that we can create more delicious chocolates for you … If you are among the ones who chose this reward, you can already look forward to your freshly created Nativo Box early December. Then, as soon as the trees have been planted, we will send you your personal certificate with the exact GPS coordinates of your tree in Peru so that you can find it! ;-) And by the way, did you know that the cacao trees in our two small communities grow in special agroforestry systems? This means that on the same field you can find crop such as cacao, precious wood trees and even animals – all coexisting in harmony according to the «choba-choba»-principal «I help you, you help me».

Erste Reaktionen aus dem Alto Huayabamba?

Leider (oder zum Glück) ist das Internet im abgelegenen Alto Huayabamba Tal noch nicht angekommen. Noch wissen unsere Kakaorebellen dort nichts von dem grossartigen Start, den die Nativo-Kampagne dank euch allen diese Woche hingelegt hat. Wir müssen also auf traditionelle Methoden der Kommunikation zurückgreifen… Unser Co-Rebell Nico düst bereits den Fluss hinauf, um ihnen die letzten News zu überbringen. Wir hier in Bern sind natürlich auch super gespannt auf ihre Reaktionen und halten euch auf dem Laufenden, sobald wir etwas hören…

Premières réactions de l’Alto Huayabamba ?

(Mal)heureusement, l’isolement de cette vallée fait que les communautés de Santa Rosa et Pucallpillo n’ont pas de connexion internet. Conséquence directe : nos amis ne savent encore rien du démarrage enthousiasmant de notre campagne grâce à vous tous ! Pour remédier à cela, rien de tel que de les informer en direct ! Nicolas est sur place depuis plusieurs semaines déjà et nous avons pu le contacter lors d’un de ses passages à Juanjui (la petite ville du coin !). Il va les rejoindre pour leur faire part des avancées de notre aventure collective ! Très bientôt donc, nous aurons nous aussi les dernières nouvelles de l’Alto Huayabamba.

(Un)fortunately our remote Alto Huayabamba is still disconnected from the internet. So the Choba Choba cacao rebels there still do not know about the great start that our Nativo Project has had this week thanks to all of you! To inform them, we still rely on traditional communication means: our co-rebel Nico is already on his way up the river to bring our communities there the latest news. Here in Bern, we are also very excited to hear their first reactions to the campaign and will keep you posted as soon as we have some news from Peru…
