«Let’s donate for Afghanistan»

The situation in Afghanistan is getting worse day by day. Since the NATO, the Northern Atlantic Treaty Organization, withdraw their forces from Afghanistan, a civil war has started.
In the meantime, the Talibans have taken control over the country.
Many families are scared and flee from their homes to bigger cities with the hope of finding shelter and answers in such an uncertain time. The majority of the habitants of Afghanistan buy food with the money they earned on that specific day, but since the unstable situation stared many of them have not been able to work therefore they don’t have any money to buy food. The government change also lead to increase in the price of the groceries. Nowadays it is three time more expensive than before.
As United Nation for Refugees publish on the 13th August 2021, 400’000 people run away from their hometown.

Locals have confirmed to us that the situation in Afghanistan is very unstable, we also received the message that in the bigger cities such as Kabul, Herat, Gazni, Tahkar and Kandahar many persons are now homeless and in need of basic human needs. Afghanistan is officially in a humanitarian crisis.

We started a new project in Afghanistan to support these different families with the basic human needs. Together with different local volunteers in different places, we distributed groceries (rice, beans, cooking oil, flour etc.) to these different people. Besides supporting them with living essentials, we also want to bring them the message that we are with them, we want to support them and be there for them, they are not forgotten. We will help in any way we can.

At the moment, we have 5 groups of volunteers active in 5 different place: Kabul, Ghazni, Kandahar, Herat and Takhar. Every day we support over 500 people and were able to supply 507 families (3560 persons) until now and are looking forward to support many more.

We are happy about any donation. Small or big everything is welcome.

My project is special because ...

We are working together with local volunteers that are ready to help their own country and their own habitants. All new changes of the situations are reported to us directly.

This is what we need backing for.

Since we are a NGO, non profit organisation, we are dependent on donation and that’s where we would need help from people. We were only able to help this people and will be only be able to help further people with donation we receive from our donors. We need help with the financial part of this project.
