A new chapter for this legendary restaurant

Our dream is to bring an iconic restaurant in the valley back to life. Open all year round, it will showcase local products and the flavors of the region in a simple, friendly, and genuine atmosphere. A place where locals, hikers, and travelers can come together over a good meal and a smile, to savor a truly special moment. But this project is more than just a restaurant. It is a living space, a human-scale environment where everyone can find their place. In this spirit, we have also decided to create jobs for people with disabilities.

The foundations of the project are already in place, and the building has been purchased, but we still need to carry out some renovation and fitting-out work to bring this place to life as we imagine it: warm, eco-friendly, and vibrant.

Our project is special because ...

A bit like its two owners, this project is above all a story of heart, sharing, and encounters. A place in the valley where it will be a pleasure to stop by, summer or winter.

And because it is important that everyone finds their place, one or two jobs will be created in the kitchen and in service for people with disability.

This is what we need backing for.

A cosmetic refresh of the interior so that we all feel comfortable there, and a modernisation of the kitchen. We would like to create a unique outdoor space for children, where they can play safely while parents enjoy the moment.

And because mountain weather can be unpredictable (even in Ticino ;-) ), we also want to offer a covered, welcoming area, so that conviviality doesn’t depend solely on sunshine.

In a second phase, with an eye to the future and out of respect for our beautiful valley, we aim to integrate an energy recovery concept—for example, to charge your e-bikes while you enjoy a delicious local meal. A way to combine gastronomy, nature, and sustainability.
