A food truck for the first plant-based bakery in French-speaking Switzerland, created by former breeders!

Discover the 100% plant-based bakery «Aux Pains Sans Peines» whose products you will find delivered to numerous points of sale throughout French-speaking Switzerland. Purchasing a food truck will allow us to participate in more and more events, markets, and why not respond to your private or corporate requests!

What's special about our project

Our story, an atypical and inspiring journey

Stéphane, 50 years old, trained baker, former breeder, and Valérie, 47 years old, trained as a commercial employee. Together, we form a supportive and complementary duo.

Thanks to our cow Réglisse, we abandoned animal breeding. She left us in May 2021 of old age. His departure allowed us to understand that it was no longer possible for us to continue breeding and slaughtering animals for our own consumption. From then on, we placed our last cows at the sanctuary of the Co&xister Association in Frenières, with whom we have worked closely since and we changed our diet. We didn’t stop there.

Stéphane wanted to return to his initial training, with a major challenge: producing 100% plant-based bakery, meaning without any ingredients of animal origin. Which he successfully achieved, after numerous attempts. Since then, he has continued to have new ideas for creations. Valérie, due to her training, mainly takes care of the administrative part.

We opened our plant-based bakery laboratory on October 1, 2022, following our reconversion and the placement of our last cows.

Having no point of sale, we distribute our products through two systems:

  • through orders via our website, then placed at collection points

  • through the direct sale of our products in grocery stores located in different regions

  • during numerous events such as festivals, association events, etc.

The continuity of the project

Our small business is now publicly recognized and promoted by numerous media. We are asked more and more often to participate in festivals, markets, one-off events related to the animal cause… but not only that!

Today we have the opportunity to buy a Foodtruck, in perfect condition, at a more than reasonable price, fully equipped.

Thanks to this investment, we could participate more easily in different events and also offer «ethical junk food». We have already tested the vegetable hotdogs, accompanied by homemade fries. We work with organic and local products, this is essential for us. We also take the seasons into account and vary our proposals.

The amount we hope to raise includes the «customization» of the trailer, with our logo and our graphic line. We would also like to be able to take the necessary steps for the license.

Your participation in our project contributes not only to the accessibility of our products but also directly to the animal cause, since we collaborate every week with sanctuaries and associations that work in this direction!
