SILENT PORTRAITS Vernissage

Liebe Freunde, Bekannte und Interessierte,

Die Druckproduktion von SILENT PORTRAITS musste leider etwas verschoben werden. Die Veröffentlichung und die Vernissage zum Buch können daher nicht wie geplant im November 2024 stattfinden.

Es ist eine unerwartete Situation, die für uns sehr bedauerlich ist. Was ist passiert ? Leider ist nach intensivem und mehrmonatigem Kontakt die Förderung durch Pro Helvetia nicht zustande gekommen. Somit muss das Budget neu zusammen gestellt werden.

Im Moment sind wir an der Organisation des neuen Drucktermins. Dieser wird voraussichtlich im April 2025 sein. Wir freuen uns, euch über den neuen Stand der Termine zu informieren.

Dear friends, acquaintances and interested parties,

Unfortunately, the print production of SILENT PORTRAITS had to be postponed. Therefore, the book’s publication and vernissage cannot take place as planned in November 2024.

It is an unexpected situation that is very unfortunate for us. What has happened? Unfortunately, after several months of intensive contact, the funding from Pro Helvetia has not materialised. The budget, therefore, has to be reorganised.

Zu unserer grossen Freude hat der Kulturfrühling Rorschach für die diesjährige Präsentation auf den billboards am Kornhaus SILENT PORTRAITS gewählt.

Ab 1. Juni bis 1. November 2024 werden dort, aus der Serie 5 ausgewählte Portraits auf der Seepromenade am Kornhausplatz Rorschach, Hafen gezeigt.

Die billboards sind eine grossformatige Installation.

Wir freuen uns riesig und bedanken uns an dieser Stelle beim Kulturfühling, dass er uns die Gelegenheit gibt SILENT PORTRAITS einer breiten Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen.

From 1 June to 1 November 2024, selected portraits from the series 5 will be shown on the lakeside promenade at Kornhausplatz Rorschach, Hafen.

Am Dienstag 4. Juli 2023 haben wir das Interview mit Neurowissenschaftler Prof. Olaf Blanke vom EPFL in Genf machen können. Es gab einen schönen Einblick zum Verständniss von Bewusstsein aus neurowissenschaftlicher Sicht. Ich freu mich sehr, dass sein Beitrag teil von SILENT PORTRAITS ist.

Im Frühjahr 2023 konnte ich Portraits-shootings zu SILENT PORTRAITS machen und mit Roland intensiv am Layout weiter arbeiten.

Und ja … in der zwischenzeit ist mein Atelier umgezogen. Freu mich im Lattich 1.09 weiter an SILENT PORTRAITS arbeiten zu dürfen.

Hello All,

On Tuesday July 4, 2023 we were able to do the interview with neuroscientist Prof. Olaf Blanke from EPFL in Geneva. It gave a nice insight into understanding consciousness from a neuroscientific point of view and I am very happy that his contribution is part of SILENT PORTRAITS.

In spring 2023 I was able to do portraits-shootings for SILENT PORTRAITS and continue to work intensively with Roland on the layout.

And yes … in the meantime my studio has moved. I’m looking forward to continue working on SILENT PORTRAITS in Lattich 1.09.

… meanwhile. Wir waren intensiv mit Layout und Typografie vom Buch beschäftigt. Mitte der Woche haben wir damit bei Niedermann einen Andruck machen lassen. Hier ein paar Impressionen ..

Anfang nächster Woche bin ich sehr froh den Andruck bei Seltmann Publishers präsentieren zu dürfen. .. happy to tell you about it soon.

SILENT PORTRAITS bekommt eine eigene website. In einem eigenen space soll das Projekt vorgestellt werden. Es soll dafür sein SILENT PORTRAITS kennen zu lernen, eine Plattform für Neuigkeiten, Samples, Behind-the-scenes und Informationen.
