What it's about
I’m Sibylle, a musician from Switzerland. I’ve been writing music for years – in Swiss German for my music theatre projects. But often, songs also come to me in English, because I find it easier to express certain emotions that way. However, I’ve never released anything – I simply lacked the courage and the budget. Now, I’ve found the courage and I’m ready to begin the next step of my musical journey – will you help me?
Why did I write a song about football? I don’t play football myself and I rarely watch games on TV – but I do love the shared experience, especially at public viewings. I wanted to contribute to that sense of community – because men’s football already has many anthems, but women’s football finally deserves its own soundtrack. That’s why I wrote «Power on the Pitch.»
What drives me are real emotions, visibility for women in sport and music – and that feeling of connection that sport and music can create. With this crowdfunding campaign, I want to push not only this song but also move forward with my vision for a first mini-album. You can support me now!

Beyond the joy of the game as a fan or player, I also address key social issues: the gender pay gap and the unequal distribution of resources and attention.

In many women’s football teams it is tradition that new players sing a song when they join the squad. Music is also omnipresent at major sporting events. That’s exactly where my song comes in: as a soundtrack for shared emotions, encounters and unity.

My primary goal is to cover the production costs of the song «Power on the Pitch». And since I have many more song ideas waiting to be brought to life, my secondary goal is to fund my very first EP.
